About Kimberley Coastal Camp
From the moment you step onto the private stretch of beach at Kimberley Coastal Camp, you feel like you are one of the very few people for hundreds of kilometers. And you are.
Befitting its ideal location, the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. There are no pre-set itineraries here. You set the pace and can be as active or laid back as you like.
Spend your days fishing for the fabled Barramundi and dozens of other tropical species in the pristine azure waters the area is famous for.
Discover intriguing Wandjina and Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw) rock art, which has been part of this landscape and the lives of its traditional owners for thousands of years.
You may prefer to take it easy on the boat, cruising and picnicking on deserted islands fringed by boab trees, or sipping a cool drink from the daybed. The choice is yours.
Kimberley Coastal Camp is a place for the heart and soul, limited to 16 guests, creating an intimate atmosphere while reducing the impact on this fragile environment. When we say we’re isolated and pristine – we mean it.
Welcome from Jules & Tub…
We’re Tubs and Jules- and we’ll be there to welcome you the moment you land, and send you off with a few stories (and maybe a fish tale or two) when it’s time to go.
Tub is a bit of a larrikin around the Admiralty Coast. If you’re keen for an adventure, he’ll take you out chasing fish, exploring hidden bush tracks, or showing you some incredible ancient rock art at the Wandjina, Bradshaw, and Gwion Gwion sites that not many people get to see. There’s always a good yarn along the way when Tub is on board.
Jules, the one in the kitchen and around camp. She’s a trained chef and loves keeping things fresh, simple, and full of flavour. Whatever comes in that day, whether it’s mud crab, reef fish, or something you’ve caught yourself, she’ll turn it into something pretty special. Some of the best meals happen right on the beach, with the ocean in front of you and a drink in hand.
For us, this place is about more than just somewhere to stay.
It’s relaxed, it’s personal, and it’s something we love sharing. We’re looking forward to having you here.
